What to pack for a week in Positano

Positano is stairs, salt, and evenings that start later than you planned. Pack for that, not for a city break.

One linen wrap dress. The kind you can swim in a cover-up and then knot for dinner. Cream and lemon reads as the coast without trying — it is the palette of the houses behind you.

A cream linen shirt, worn open over a swimsuit in the afternoon and closed over trousers at night. Trousers in the same cloth, wide enough that they do not cling after the climb back up from Fornillo.

Shoes you can walk in. A scarf for the boat. The perfume you already own if it has citrus in it; if it does not, the one we make from sfusato will make the suitcase smell like the week you are about to have.

Leave the extra jackets. The nights are warm and the linen is enough.
